researched this carefully-including Mrs.
Cocke of Cockes and their Cousins fame, you
would conclude that Ann could not have been
the daughter of Obadiah Smith-despite what H.M. Woodson says in his historic book-but
is most probably Obadiah's sister, dau of
John Smith.
