I have a Charles Cocke (1750-aft1838) m. Ellender Ewing (c1750-?). They had children Jane, John, Ellender, Charles and William.

It is not known when William was born, but Charles and Ellender were living in Washington County, VA at the time.

The White County connection is interesting because their daughter Ellender married John Lee Dibrell. John's brother Anthony Dibrell moved to White County, TN ca 1805 where they became fairly prominent.
