Sick when the regiment moved from Wytheville, 7/12/1861. Sick again 9/61. Present on final roll. He died in Carroll County 9/22/1909. Granville Cocke b. aby 1841, Carroll County, Virginia: d 1872-1932 m Miss Marshall, 1866 Notes for Granville Cocke; From Basil Cox's notes. Was captured June 5,1864, at Piedmont and imprisoned at Camp Morton. Records inthe archives indicated that he died February 9, 1865, at Camp Morton of diarrhea.
