Have you seen the John Hartwell Cocke papers owned by the Library of Virginia? They are online and available through internet. Just type in Library of Virginia and you can get there. Go into special collections and search. These might also be available through Mormon Libraries. I am interested in this family because of Napier/Cocke marriage: Stephen Napier to Tabitha Cocke, and looking for all information on them.
