Hi Lori,
My ancestery goes through Naomi and Thomas Cocke. I don't have any documentation on the Cocke's but I have found reference to them in two locations, yours and my-ged.com/crandall/
You indicated that they may have been born in Mendelsham, Suffolk, England. Crandall has them being born in Ipswich, Essex, England. Dates are different by one or two years. You might like to look up Earl P. Crandall's database and compare notes. His notes on Thomas Cocke has reference to some notes that were brought to this country by Samuel Hubbard and are probably at Alfred University in Alfred Centre, NY. It is a coincident but I went to Alfred Ag-Tech Institute (1951), colocated with Alfred University. I didn't look in the library at the time. This note is referenced in the Narragansett Historical register Vol. V; p 289. Just for reference my connection to Naomi is as follows;
