Looking for Cockburn connection to Franklin County Alabama. Elizabeth Cockburn listed as head of household in 1850. In 1850 Agricultural Census she is listed as owning property of $12,000. On the same census listed directly above her is George T. Goff. George T. Goff married Louisa Cockburn around 1845. George and Louisa located to Texas by August 1854. George died in 1856. Louisa married his brother, Thomas B. Goff, in 1860. The last account of her is 1864 when she sold land in Grayson Co. TX. Need to know if there is a connection between Elizabeth and Louisa. Anyone know the name of Ezliabeth's husband. I believe he had been deceased a very short time when the 1850 census were taken. Elizabeth in 1850 was age 41, three children in household, Peter, age 16; Ann, age 4; GeoElla, age 8/12. She was born in TN. I will be grateful for any help.
