My second great-grandmother was born
Sarah Cockburn in St. Patrick, Charlotte,
New Brunswick. Her father was named James
and her mother was Margaret Acheson, the
daughter of John Acheson and Sarah E. Adams.
Sarah Elizabeth Cockburn was the eldest of
12 children. She had two brothers, closest
in age to her, named William and John who
left Canada and went to TEXAS prior to the
Civil War. I am looking for anyone who
might be descended from William or John
Cockburn in Texas.
