My grandmother was born in England Nov 6 1882. She was an illigitimate child. She immigrated to Canada and married my grandfather Ernest Fisher. We believed that her last name was Cockton, but can find no listing on her, My sister faintly remembers the name as Cockburn. I have ordered their wedding cert. from here in Canada but until then, is she part of anyone's research. We don't know where she was born except for England, but she either met my grandfather in Kent Or Horsham Sussex.
