Do you have any information on Mary Cogburn Swindall?
Marriage record from Talbot County, Ga
Thomas W. & Mary A. J. Cogburn 5 Sept 1852
I am a decendant of Thomas W. Swindall. He and Mary both died in Van Zandt County, Texas.

Widows file of Mary A. Swindall states that she had lived in Van Zandt County for 25 years in 1899 and that she married Thomas in Georgia. He was described as 6' tall, 160 lbs, blind and crippled, had afflicted son. He was in Company H., 11th Texas Infantry commanded by Col. O. M. Roberts. He enlisted at Shelbyville, Texas. Served 4 years and was discharged due to disability.
