Donna: We all suffer from Don Cother's loss. He was so enthusiastic and so willing to help. I have been in touch with him over several years and believe I have most of the info in his files as we exchanged often. I don't think there is any confirmation/documentation of where George Cockburn was born. I am the person who has a descendant's letter suggesting it may have been Newcastle which is on the border of England and Scotland, so that location depends on what year and which border war between the two was just successful.
