Am researching the Edward COCK family who hailed from the Heanton Purcharden town in the county of Devon, England.
Edward was born abt 1740, his wife, Elizabeth (last name ???). They were married about 1758-59. Children:
Elizabeth (1759)
Samuel (1763)
Edward (1765)
Mary (1768) marries Philip CORNEY
John (1770)
Fanny or Frances (1773)
There are at least 3 variations of this name: Cox, Cock and Cocke. I am very interested in learning the mother's maiden name as well as Edward's parental lineage.
