Hi Colin! Great to hear from you. But, sigh, more Coke ancestors -- never any descendants for me. ;)

I can put you in touch with some descendants of your Elizabeth's brother James (born 1759) who married Jane Simmons (in 1803). (Your Elizabeth was born 1749?) Those descendants, who live in Wales entirely coincidentally, are from James' and Jane's son James Charles Coke, while "my" Cokes are from their son Henry Simmons Coke.

From the tree I have ... I have a horrible time keeping this straight, since the given names are repeated so much ... the parents of Charles born 1724 were Andrew Coke, born 1687, and Katherine Paiss, married 1708; and Andrew's parents were Andrew Cock and Elizabeth Raitrie. It looks like Charles and May had 9 or 10 children.

As far as I know, those descendants aren't in contact with descendants of any siblings of of James born 1759, so I'm sure they'd be very interested and pleased to hear from you.

You should be able to see my email address by clicking on my name (yours is hidden so I can't write to you directly). Drop me a line and I will pass your address on to them!

Kathryn
