Archibald Cock was born about 1799 in Campbell County, Virginia. He was the son of George and Judith Cock. He died on 17 Jun 1887 in Clinton, Henry County, Missouri at the home of his son, William H Cock. He is buried in Englewood Cemetery in Henry County, Missouri. Mary Bradley was born about 1805 in Virginia. She is probably the daughter of Collins Bradley and Lucy Johnson. She died in Aug 1859 in Missouri (not sure if it was Benton, Butler or Henry County). She was originally buried in Butler County, Missouri and was later moved to Englewood Cemetery in Henry County. Archibald and Mary were married on 2 Jun 1822 in Campbell County, Virginia. They lived in Tennessee (Rutherford County), Kentucky (Christian County), and Missouri (Benton County) before Mary died. Archibald stayed in Missouri and lived in Hickory County, St. Claire County, and Henry County. According to the History of Henry County (Missouri), they had 13 children but I have only been able to find 12 of them (and a couple of them are a little questionable). The children are: 1. William H. – born 9 Jul 1829 in Tennessee – married Eliza L. Hancock in 1853 – died 31 Jan 1918 in Missouri 2. George C. – born 11 Feb 1828 in Tennessee – married Margaret Fields in 1858 – died 6 Nov 1908 in Missouri 3. Nancy – born ? – married John Howard in 1844 – died before 1850 4.
