I am lookin for ancestral information for my grandfather R. Arrol Cochrane who I believe was born in Scotland between l880-90. I do not know any other statistics except he worked for the Bank of New South Wales on Threadneedle St., Golders Green, London England in the l930's. He was never married to my grandmother Daisy Bickers of London England but always seemed to have an interest in my mother Joan Arrol Cochrane Bickers, born July12, l914 in London, Eng.I have never seen a full name for the initial "R" and because my mother was named "Arrol" I believe this is the name may have used. We were never told anything about him and discouraged from asking questions. My parents are both deceased and I have always been curious about him. I assume he went on to raise a family of his own. I have been told the British bankers Assocoation may have info on him in their files but do not have an address for them. If anyone has any info, or this name clicks with anyone out there I would be very grateful for any info. Thanks Brenda
