Her Father - Robert Cochrane b 1866 England - Ran a Store at Ferreira Deep Mines
Her Mother - Laura Weiss b 1866 Germany – 1st Husband died
Her Uncle - William Cochrane b 1873 Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu, Natal, South Africa (I think)
He was a Councilor in Ladysmith, Natal
He had some connection with the Royal Hotel in Ladysmith
He Married – 1899 - Margaret Illing (I think)
2 Children:
· COCHRANE – Jean Isobel
· COCHRANE – Robert
