Seeking descendants of HUGH HENRY COCHRANE.
Born Townland of Craigs,Cullybackey,Co Antrim N.Ireland on April 15,1879. Died Jan 1937 in Edmonton,Alberta Canada.Married to Mary ? they had 8 children,5 boys,3 girls.
Hugh served with Scottish Yeomanry,then in South African War,moved to Canada in 1903 served with Royal Northwest Canadian Mounted Police untl 1915 when he joined the Canadian Expeditionary Force in WW1. Wounded twice in France.
In 1919 he joined the Canadian Forest Rangers Lovetville Alberta.He died of cancer in 1937 and was afforded a RCMP Honor Guard at his funeral.
It is time his children and grandchildren heard about this Irish Canadian warrior.
