Janet Cochrane born in Scotland in 1824 married Alexander McCaig (1825-1871, he is the son of Mary Cohrane and Donald McCaig listed below) Janet emigrated to Canada and lived in Puslinch Ontario then later in Manitoba after her husband passed away(which is where I believe she passed on).
Mary McCaig born in Scotland 1804-1868 married to Donald McCaig born in Argylshire Scotland 1794- 1882 ... emigrated to Nova Scotia and then to Puslinch Ontario.
I believe both women are cousins or a similar relationship as the Cochranes and McCaigs intermarried quite a bit for several generations.
Any information on the parentage and siblings of either/both women would be appreciated as I seem to be missing this particular branch of our family tree.
