I have a lot on the line from New England including the James "Indian Jamie or Indian James" you refer to in the one article. It is confusing about the connections between the New England Cochran's and the Cochrans of "Carolina". Some do connect but others came earlier and later than the ones to New England. The Cochran's of Maine actually came between 1718-1730 to New Hampshire and spread out from there even into Canada. email me cmsj27ga@bellsouth.net
