Cochran - Masterson, Brazoria Co., Texas
COCHRAN - MASTERSON. I would like to know more about the following family, found in the 1920 census of Brazoria Co., Texas. [Precinct #1, E. D. 4, Sheet 10, Household 262-212] . Everyone mentioned, and the parents of everyone mentioned, born in Texas
Alexander E. Masterson, white male, aged 37, lawyer [Is this Judge Alexander Ewing Masterson, son of Judge Archibald Roane Masterson and Kate Ewing?]
Mary, wife of Alexander, white female, aged 35
Alexander and Mary are shown as having been married for 14 years, had had five children and all five were living. They were listed as:
Cochran, son, aged 13
Gertrude, daughter, aged 12
Mary E., daughter, aged 11
Alexander E., Jr., son, aged 9
Carlos B., son, aged 7. [Is this the father of Peter Masterson, nee' Carlos Bee Masterson, Jr.???]
Thanks to David Roberts' Web page
My primary interest is in the Cochran family. I believe that Mary (Cochran) Masterson was the daughter of Dr. John Lynch Cochran and his wife, Ann Maria (Stewart) (Turner) Cochran.
I would appreciate any information on the children of Alex. E. and Mary (Cochran) Masterson, and am especially interested in contacting any living descendants.
Any help would be very much appreciated. Have Cochran information to exchange.
