I have information on a John Cobley, b ca 1846 Wales. He lived in MD ca 1876 (son James), and then to IA by 1880. Coal miner by profession. His wife in MD & IA was Martha, b ca 1843 Wales. 2nd wife Anne, m ca 1895, b 1847 England. This may be the uncle you're looking for. I'm searching for information on the wife of his son James, a lady named Ellen b PA in 1881.
