My great great grandfather James Cobley married Elizabeth Sadler in Bedminster Parish in 1833. They had nine children that I know of. The two eldest sons, namely,
John Sadler Cobley and William Henry Cobley, emigrated to New Zealnd. The eldest daughter Elizabeth Ann Cobley married Thomas Bellis. A younger daughter Emma Cobley was a witness at the marriage of the second to youngest son Eli James Cobley to Bessie Burnett in 1877 at St Barnabas Gloucestershire. Most of Eli's descendants stayed in the UK. Emma married Albert William McNeil and they were living in Cardiff Wales in 1887.
