Further to my original message.John Cobley enlisted in the 9th Regt. foot in 1813.Discharged in 1838, and resided in Charlton Kings.He married Mary Anne James, and had Edwin Harry b.1830 in Belfast, George b. 1831 Limerick, and John Julian b. Limerick 1834. Three other children were born, two died in infancy, and the last child was Reuben born in 1843 in Charlton Kings.All four men emigrated to Australia.
No marriage has as yet been found, or the actual date of birth or baptism of John Cobley.
