Hazelene Bright Coble

BURLINGTON - Mrs. Hazelene Bright Coble, 92, passed away peacefully at the Hospice Home at 12:25 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 2, 2012 with her family by her side. She had been critically ill for two weeks and in failing health for several years. She was part-owner of Coble's Cycle Shop with her husband Boyd Coble.
She loved and enjoyed working in her flowers. She loved cooking and baking. We will miss her chocolate pies.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Coble; parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. W. Bright; brothers, John Bright, Otis Bright and Howard Bright; and sisters, Edna Glosson and Edith Ireland.
Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Brooks; granddaughters, Teresa Hiatt and Tina Brooks; great-grandchildren, Spencer and Parker Symons, Logan Richardson and Morgan Brynn Cates; and a brother, Donald Bright.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012 in the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington by Dr. Philip Hoffman, Chaplain of Hospice of Alamance-Caswell. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice League of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
She will be greatly missed, but we know she is in God's hand.
