Found in Charlestown, Clark Co, Indian obit copies. Assume it's a Charlestown newspaper. Alfred was the son of John Coble & Maria Kime.
Died
Alfred Coble was born in North Carolina Sept 22, 1803, died August 8, 1892 aged 89 years, 11 months and 16 days. His father came to Indiana when Alfred was three years old and settled on the land where he resided until his death and Alfred Coble has been a resident of the place near 86 years. He joined the Christian church in the year 1831 and maintained his Christian integrity up to his death. He never was married. The funeral was conducted by Elder H.C. Jackson in the presence of a large number of friends. The burial was in the family graveyard on the farm where he died.
