I found a David (born 1839 in Red Oak, Lincoln County, Tennessee) and Julia Coble (born 1840, place unknown) in Lincoln County Tennessee, that had children with the following initials:
S.E. COBLE b: 1860
W.H. COBLE b: 1862
N.M. COBLE b: 1864
S.C. COBLE b: 1868
M.V. COBLE b: 1873
E.T. COBLE b: 1875
M.L. COBLE b: 1875
V.M. COBLE b: 1878
My second great grandmother's name matches one of the sets of initials and approximate year of birth above. Her name was Nancy Minerva Coble, she married Lewis Andrew Gatlin. Can anyone confirm that the David and Julia listed above are the parents of Nancy Minerva Coble Gatlin?
