Origins of the Coberlys

I cannot find Coberly in my Oxford book of English surnames, so I assume that the Coberlys did not originate from England. I have Cobleys in my ancestry who came from Bristol Somerset in England and wondered if Coberly might have been another version of Cobley. From where did the Coberlys emigrate? Were they Germans, Jews or what?
