I am searching for the parants of my Gt. Gt. Gt. Grandmother Phoebe or Pheby Coberly (Cubberly) B. 1776. D. 1839 in Union Co. Ohio. She married Calib Orahood before 1790in Hardy Co. Va. I have a copy of a deed from Hardy Co. dated 26 April 1806 in which Calib and Phoebe purchased a parcel of land from a Jonathan and Deanna Watson. Book C page 434. What is interesting is that the copy machine copied the top portion of the next entry, which is dated the same day in which a James Coberly purchased a parcel of land from the same Jonathan and Deanna Watson. I am wondering if this James is either a brother of Phoebe or her father. If some one has a copy of the deed to James it might help in identifying him. Also Phoebe may have been a nickname. Richard.
