I am beginning to trace my family history. I am also trying to confirm an oral tradition that tells of a Native American ancestor on the Coberly side of the family. My grandmother is Elizabeth Katherine Coberly, born in Sangersville, Virginia, 16Jun.1907, Died in Elkins, Randolph Co. W.Virginia, 4Jun.1998; My greatgrandfather is Thomas Jackson Coberly(Married Anna Katherine Driver), birthplace/date unknown; My greatgrandfather is Bushrod Coberly(Married Elizabeth White), birthplace/date unknown. I would appreciate any information.
