The above minister performed three marriages in the Campbell Counry, VA area in 1844-1851 that involved two Davidson women and one Davidson man. The women were sisters, both daughters of Rev. Samuel Davidson. Samuel apparently lived in the part of Campbell County, VA that became Appomattox County,VA in 1845. Does anyone have information on Rev. John C. Hamner? Was he related to Susannah Hamner who married John L. Cobbs and who had Rev. Nicholas Hamner Cobbs and Ann Hamner Cobbs, among several other children, in Bedford County, VA? Ann Hamner Cobbs married Baker W. Davidson in 1827 in Bedford County, VA, and they moved to Buckingham County, VA by 1830 or so. Thanks!
