It has long been believed that David Cobb was the brother of my g/g/g/grandfather, John S. Cobb, of SC. Since David is not my "direct" line, I have only recently starting accumulating data on his descendants. I have alreay discovered a question as to just how many David's there was in Madison County; and now a question as to how many W.R.W. Cobb's there was in the same location. Now, there is also a question as to when/where David died, how many times he may have married, and whether or not he also had service in the War of 1812, as well as the Revolution (which I show to be the case). I have put together a small GEDCOM of the data I have on David and his descendants, which I will gladly share with anyone researching this family.
