Am seeking the parents of Alva Devoe Cobb. Probably born in the late 1880's or 1890's. Had flaming red hair. Died in Monette, Arkansas in early 1950's. It has been told that he was from an area called Red Hill, Alabama, which was close to present day Birmingham. It is also told that he left Alabama, as a teenager, with a group of Cobb men who went west after an accidental killing. Some of them ended up in a swampy area of Northeast Arkansas.
