Robert E. Cobb
SHREVEPORT, LA - Mr. Robert E. Cobb, 69, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2009, at Christus Schumpert Highland. Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. on Sunday, August 30, 2009, at Osborn Funeral Home. A funeral mass will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 31st, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Officiating will be Father Richard J. Lombard and Father Karl Daigle, Priests of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Forest Park Cemetery, East.
Mr. Cobb was a lifelong resident of Shreveport. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He retired from the City of Shreveport as an Electrical Inspector, was a member of IBEW local union # 194 and was a Master Electrician.
Mr. Cobb was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Edna Cobb.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lillian Bain Cobb, and his daughter, Sharon Lynn Cobb.
The family requests that memorials be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church Building Fund. OSBORNFUNERALHOME.NET
