The Bank of Kentucky to EDMUND SIMPSON, LEWIS M. SIMPSON, LYDIA SIMPSON, LETTY SIMPSON, GREENBERRY SIMPSON, WASHINGTON SIMPSON, FRANKY SIMPSON AND SARAH SIMPSON - all surviving children and heirs of SAMUEL SIMPSON, deceased, and PLEASANT COBB, SAMUEL COBB, WILLIAM COBB, AND LYDIA COBB, grandchildren of the said SAMUEL SIMPSON, deceased, and the children of WILLIAM and POLLY COBB, deceased, late POLLEY SIMPSON who was one of the children of said SAMUEL SIMPSON, deceased....whereas ISOM COLLIER on 11 June 1821 in order to insure the payment of #100 loaned him by the Bank....mortgaged a 100 acre tract in Grant County....and whereas the said SAMUEL SIMPSON deceased did in his lifetime purchase the said 100 acre tract from ISON COLLIER....land involved is on both sides of the Dry Ridge Road. 4 September 1822. Ack. 7 September 1822.
