My ggg grand father was born in SC in 1792, W H Cobb, probably William Henry. He married Catherine Jackson in 1819 Wilson Co Tn, she died 2 years later. 1830 census W H was in Carroll Co Tn, married and two children under five. The name pattern of his children are identical to the names in the families of the "Cobb Five Brothers" descendants of Elder Henry Cobb from Barnstable. The family moved to Caswel Co NC. Some of them bought land in SC and TN and moved back and forth. Please post with any information... sue
