I found a Levi Cobb in this county in 1830. In 1840 he is not there but a Rebecca and a N. H. are listed. In 1850 I found Noah H. b. 1812 NC in the same county. On a different page but same county is Rebecca with Andrew b. 1825 in IN. and elsewhere a James R. b. 1821 NC with wife Martha and dtr Laura.
In 1860 Noah is listed as Hardman or Hardiman...although he's indexed oddly with an unrecognizable name. He has the same children and spouse so I know it's the same man.
In 1860 Rebecca is there and the only child with her is Levi A.
Is anyone familiar with this family at all?
