Rufus Cobb of Tishomingo, Mississippi

I cannot find any information on Rufus Cobb b: 1826?....he is listed on 1860 and 1880 Census....on the 1860 Census lists him as being 34, born in NC. On the 1880 Census he is listed as being 54 and born in Georgia and both parents being from Georgia. His eldest son Howard (Howell) Fletcher "Man" Cobb is my greatgrandfather 1858 to 1915..he died in Sevier County, Arkansas. Rufus's wifes name is listed as Elizabeth on the 1860 census. She died sometime before 1868 and Rufus remarried Trussy Ukn. Man's brother, Charles Samuel Cobb is listed in the 1860 census as living in the home of Alexander Cobb b: 1823? I am thinking this might be Rufus's brother but not sure. Any help would be appreciated.
