I have a book called COBBS OF THE TIDEWATER and within this book is a brief chapter on the Cobbs of The Watauga. This shows a Jesse as the youngest son of Pharoah Cobb born in 1799 and died 1863. Pharoah Cobb was the son of William Cobb(1723-1803). William was the son of Benjamin Cobb (CA1702-1794).
William went to the Watauga. Benjamin was the son of Joseph(3)CA1660-1753. Joseph was the son of Pharoah Cobb(CA1624-1701). Pharoah was the son of Joseph Cobbs (1588-1654).Joseph came in 1613 to Va.
