Stancil came to Leon & Robertson Co., TX in 1837. Stancil married Mila Read 01-25-13 in Miss Terry, Madison Co., Alabama. Their children were CLark, David, Clay, Etna, Emeline, Patsy, Scott, Pinkney, Bryant W, Most buried in Shiloh Cemetery, Robertson Co., Texas close to once was known as Cobb's Prairie.
