You might wish to research the name by looking into novice books on heraldry.
Your local library or a google book search on books that cover the topic of heraldry are excellent sources for beginning heralds such as yourself.
Whether not you may have a coat-of-arms is entirely dependent on whether or not one of your ancestors was entitled to bear a coat-of-arms, whose surname ws Lowery.
