Charles MacLeod Stuart, Sir --- Great stuff my friend. I am in the process right now of trying to gain the attention of my own large Family House of Brinkley (which has been in the "States" for nearly 400 Years now) to understand that what they "think" they have discovered as to Family Arms, Crests, Motto ... may be history for their perusal ... but is not a lifetime badge of personal glory to be displayed on their walls. And what a great illustration of the medals from war and valor. My Uncle won the Silver Star in Viet Nam --- My Dad has a host of medals .... I wont-not to ever imagine that I might somehow claim them as my own ... I served as a Green-Beret ... they were Navy ... I just have to live with the fact my war-stories are a bit short of exciting when compared to theirs! Most people want to steal the honor and glory of the brave-ones gone before us --- they don't want to seek the moment to prove their own character themselves.
