Actually I'm English, albeit an Anglo-Scot by ancestry. I am a member of The Heraldry Society & The Heraldry Society of Scotland. I hope I have a reasonable understanding of the workings of both jurisdictions - they are certainly my main area of interest.

One of my projects is the production of "one name" armorials which may help demonstrate that there can be a multitude of Arms associated with a single surname. The largest to date are for Fraser and for Grant (70 plus for each) - public access to Scottish Arms is much easier than for English ones.
