I am looking for information about MARIAN PENROSE SHELLEY COATES of Coatesville, Pennsylvania. She is believed to have been born 8 April 1893 in Salem, Virginia. She married Francis Newman Smith(1887-1974)and they lived in Damariscotta, Maine. They had no children. A source I have says "Marian's father was a Quaker and organized the first Iron and Steel Company in the United States."
