Greetings: Looking for information on a William Coates who would
have been born in the early to mid 1700's. Wife unknown. He
had a daughter Sarah who married James Howerton prior to 1810.
A daughter Rebecca was born to Sarah and James in Virginia,
since she was born there and other Howerton information is found
in Virginia the Coates family is most likely from that area also
. James Howerton is the son of Thomas Howerton and Susannah
Anderson. Thanks
