Hello, I am interested in learning about the family of Martha Coates Lawson. Martha Coates married William Richard Lawson in the Yorkshire area of England in the 1860s. She had several children and came with her family to the United States in 1884. My grandmother was her eldest daughter, and before the family came to the US they lived near Leeds in Pudsey, England. I do not know anything other than what I have told you. One day I will do some research in the English census records, and meanwhile, has anyone any information that might lead me to this family?
