Austin and Margaret Coates were my 5th great grandparents. I have quite a bit of info on the family and would love to share with you.
The Coates family moved to Mississippi, where Austin died in 1832 in Wilkinson County. The family migrated to Louisiana, Caldwell Parish, where many of them still live.
My line of family starts with my father, Charles Luther Coates, his father
William Alex (Ellic) Coates

Simeon Charles Austin Lanehart Coates
Charles Austin Coates
