I have this story in my family about a family relative working on genealogy that involved land. Her name was ___ ADAMS CAMPBELL. Something about proving heritage so that she could claim property. I always thought she was working on ADAMS, but now believe it could have been COATES. As I have COATES in our line. ELIZABETH COATES married to WILLIAM PALMER, of Phila., PA. They had JOHN PALMER born 1716 in Phila., PA. He married DEBORAH BANKSON and they had several daughters, including my line, MARTHA PALMER. Martha married WALTER KERR 1st time and JAMES HATHORN, of Rev. War., 2nd time. I am descended via JAMES. They had: MARY ELIZ. HAWTHORNE who married WM. ADAMS. They had 11 children including JOHN ADAMS, my g2 grandfather. Does anyone have any additional info. for me? Also, this lawsuit, is there an exact name or names for it so that it could be looked up at the Courthouse? Rizzo@Velocity.net
