Trying to trace ancestors of Joseph Coates and Mary Faukner married 11 December 1754 in Cheadle, Staffs. Believed father was also a Joseph who married Ellin Evans in Snelston Derbyshire but unproven as yet. Marriage would have been 3 September 1723 but Church records water damaged - unreadable,. The information gleaned from the IGI - any help would be appreciated
