Looking for information on John Coates born about 1823 in Tennessee - died befor 1880 in Arkansas. Son of James Lamar Coates and Nancy McLaughlin of Louisiana.

Married Martha Winham on November 5, 1848 in Bossier Parish, Louisiana.
