None of these Robbins rings a bell. Sorry. I've checked all the ones in my line - that I could find. The 1881 Canada census is on line, so you may be able to trace your family that way. I haven't, so far, been able to trace my "Coates" nor "Robins" before they came to Canada and settled near Lake Erie in Norfolk County. It is believed they were all U.E.L's from U.S. Yes Toronto used to be called York. North of Toronto is called York Region - that's where I live. Regards, Val
