I am looking for information on Thomas Coates 1741-1813. He was married to Mary ? and then to Elizabeth Henry. Apparently they came to Nappan, Cumberland County NS in 1772 and in 1804 moved to Smiths Creek NB. The information I have is his father was one Thomas Coates from Sutton Under Whitestone Cliff, Yorkshire and his father was Robert Coates of Cleaves Farm, Thirlby, Yorkshire, North Riding England.
